A little bit on the wild side ...

Understatement from a passer-by as I was battling through the wind to try to get some pictures. I had thought there would be trees down but they seemed to have survived pretty well, in spite of really fierce gusts. There's a fair amount of water on the Stray, but again it looks as though it will clear quickly and not do too much damage. But it was windy enough to make real genuine waves on one of the flooded areas.

And this is what happens when cars drive on the grass. It's a mess. It will recover but it doesn't look great.

Saturday morning on the Stray

Doesn't matter that it's raining - the runners are out for their nine o'clock 5k, #ParkRun, the footballers are out, walkers, dogs, children, everyone. And plenty of mud.

It would be good to have comments on the mud. Too much? Maybe a case for a bit of attention to the drainage on the Stray? Or can we live with the fact that there's flooding from time to time?
